A 15-year-old girl opened fire at a Christian school in Wisconsin, killing two people and injuring six others. The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.
A 15-year-old girl, also known as Samantha, opened fire in a hallway and classroom of Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin . The shooting resulted in the deaths of a teacher and a student, with six others injured. Students heard 'lockdown, lockdown' come over the speaker and barricaded themselves in their rooms until police arrived. The motive for the shooting is still unknown, but investigators are reportedly examining a manifesto circulating on social media.
A deputy officer was first on scene in about three minutes, followed 24 seconds later by a policeman who immediately entered the school. Paramedics who were training with police nearby also rushed to the scene to provide medical assistance. The school took about two hours to clear, and students were reunited with loved ones
