Tennis Australia CEO Craig Tiley and his wife are upgrading to an absolute beachfront home in Melbourne’s bayside suburbs that comes with a tennis court.

Long-serving Tennis Australia CEO Craig Tiley and his wife Alicia have splashed out more than $13 million for a trophy home right on the beach at Aspendale, in Melbourne’s south-east, after selling their Brighton mansion last month.

The four-bedroom Nepean Highway property, set on nearly 2000sq m, comes with a floodlit grass tennis court. There’s also a pool and spa, three living rooms and three alfresco areas in the lavish pile that Belle Property selling agents Garry Donovan and Rod Richardson described as “one of the last remaining absolute beachfront properties”.The price paid by Mr Tiley, understood to be between $13.1 million and $13.2 million, smashed property records in Aspendale – the next highest price according to CoreLogic was just over $5 million paid for a four-bedroom home in 2014. It also obliterated the $8.
