Commuting to and from work in North Sydney during the Vivid Festival. At the time, I had only just got my licence and was riding across the Harbour Bridge. It was certainly an experience that stuck with me.What distance do you travel in a week?

I ride to and from Rose Bay to work in the Sydney CBD every day. On weekends, I will often go for a longer ride either up or down the coast, so probably totalling around 100 kilometres.I just have the one motorcycle at the moment, a Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight Special. I’d love to grow my collection, but for now, I am happy with calling this one my pride and joy.

“Biking gives me time to be alone with my thoughts and I love the freedom of riding on an open road,”My dream biking holiday would be completing Route 66 across America. I’d travel westbound, beginning the journey in Chicago, travelling through the rural Midwestern towns, and finishing up in Santa Monica. Being able to travel on the open road for a few weeks, through towns and rural attractions that I otherwise likely wouldn’t visit, really appeals to me.

My son, when he’s old enough – unfortunately for me, that means waiting another 15 years. So, for now, I’m content riding with my mates. However, if [English actor] Charlie Hunnam from the showFavourite ride? My favourite so far has been the Sea Cliff Bridge, a highlight on the picturesque Grand Pacific Drive on the south coast of NSW. The bridge spans out across the ocean, and it’s amazing to be able to ride across such a scenic route so close to home.My wife and I got our motorbike licences together, so she’s more than OK with my hobby. Pre-kids we would go on rides together, and sharing those experiences is something I’ll always cherish.
