Laura and Matty J planned to spend Christmas in Brisbane. That was until they drove six hours and had to turn around again.

Byrne shared the shock on her Instagram explaining her partner Matt Johnson, along with their daughters Marlie-Mae and Lola, and dog Buster, drove six hours for Christmas plans only to have to turn around again.The couple got tested to cross the Queensland border as part of the state’s border rules.Laura and Matty J got tested because they were heading to Queensland.

“Because we were driving and you have to get your test results back within 72 hours, we called NSW health and they were like if you don’t have any symptoms, if you’re only getting tested as a formality to travel you don’t have to quarantine or isolate,” Byrne told her Instagram followers.“We got in the car, we drove to Coffs and when we got to Coffs we got my results back.”The couple said they were fully vaccinated and would be isolating with their daughters in their two-bedroom apartment.
