Unvaccinated kids banned from New York schools amid measles outbreak | Sky News AustraliaA suburb of New York City has banned unvaccinated children from public places for at least 30 days as it battles a measles outbreak.\n\nMore than 150 people have been infected since the autumn, prompting Rockland County to declare a state of emergency.\n\nUnder the measures, any under 18s who are not vaccinated against measles are barred from shopping centres, schools, restaurants and even places of worship.\n\nAnyone who violates the ban could face criminal charges and up to six months in jail.\n\n\n\n\n

Netanyahu 'prepared to do more' as UN warns of new Gaza conflict | Sky News AustraliaThe Israeli prime minister has vowed further action after a night of heavy fire between his forces and Palestinian militants.\n\nBenjamin Netanyahu went straight into military consultations after returning to Israel from the US on Tuesday, where he had been meeting with Donald Trump.\n\nHe told pro-Israel lobby the AIPAC that Israel had struck militant sites in Gaza on a scale not seen since the 2014 war with Hamas.\n\nIsraeli troops have been stationed on the Gaza frontier and imposed restrictions on public gatherings after dozens of rockets were fired. One struck a house in the town of Sderot, less than a mile from the border.\n\nThe fighting was triggered on Monday morning when a rocket blasted into a house in central Israel, injuring seven people.\n\n\n\n

Pilots test Boeing's new 737 MAX aircraft software | Sky News AustraliaPilots from three American airlines have become the first to try out Boeing's new software for the troubled 737 MAX aircraft. \n\nThe simulations mimic the lead up to last year's fatal Lion Air crash, with each of the pilots managing to land the plane safely.\n\nThe system is designed to resolve the issue which triggered the plane to nosedive and will be handed over to the FAA for testing this week.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
