ITV This Morning's Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley will take break from the ITV1 show for a "holiday" soon. The new presenting duo took on their roles as hosts of the channel's flagship morning programme a few weeks ago.
The duo, 49 and 47 respectively, took over as hosts of the daytime TV show at the start of March. On Thursday's episode , Cat said they were going to take a "holiday" soon. This coincides with the schedule of former hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, reports Chronicle Live. But they will be back on screens within weeks, reports the Liverpool Echo.
But, as Easter approaches, the pair have saddened fans by announcing they will be off air for a period. The exact details and reasons behind the break has not been announced but it is thought to relate to the Easter period. Before Deeley had even mentioned their holiday, people were already chatting about it online. Posting on X, formerly Twitter, one person wrote: "Ben and Cat will be on for like two weeks then will go off for Easter for about three weeks....ridiculous".On Thursday's This Morning show, Cat Deeley was surprised when stars from BBC's Gladiators unexpectedly entered the studio. She exclaimed: "They almost gave us a full heart attack there.
