Police began searching for the toddler, after he went missing from a property last night.
A family has been left heartbroken after their two-year-old son died after drowning in a dam near Geelong, south-west of Melbourne last night.
Luka Huddle's body was found in dam waters by police after he went missing from the family property in Lara about 5.30pm. Emergency services tried to revive the two-year-old but he died at the scene alongside his distraught mother, Karin Huddle.His mother spoke to media this morning and said she felt "numb" with grief.
Luka had been playing outside while she was feeding the horses in the moments before his disappearance.It was when the Poppy came back to the property wet when she ran to the dam."I ran to the damn and we couldn't find him.
