Thousands of lives are in danger as bushfires continue to wreak havoc through eastern Victoria, prompting severe emergency warnings to be sent out across the state.
Various bushfires are currently burning in the Gippsland region, with three warnings of the highest category dished out for certain areas as of 9am on Tuesday.
"You are in danger and need to act immediately to survive. The safest option is to take shelter indoors immediately. It is too late to leave. Leaving now would be deadly," Emergency Management Victoria's website said in an 8am warning. The fire is travelling from Duffy Rd and is out of control heading towards Munro and Delvine off the Princes Highway.
Residents in the vicinity of Stockdale, Iguana Creek, and Glenaladale between the Princes Highway and Beverleys Rd have been told to evacuate immediately. Areas in danger stretched to Fernbank, Lindenow South, Perry Bridge, Stratford, Walpa, Woodglen and surrounding areas.
