If trials are successful they will apply for federal funding to build a gin in Kununurra, which could cost more than $30 million The MOU will see the two organisations work together to investigate the feasibility of cotton growing trials on two parcels of MG's Goomig farmland, known as Lots 15 and 16.

"MG Corporation is currently very focused on realising our economic potential, so that we can generate income from our land to fund social programs to benefit our community," he said.
