The state's Deputy Premier Jarrod Bleijie issued an urgent warning earlier advising commuters travelling north from the city to seek alternative methods as it was expected to take up to eight hours to mend the train lines. “However, there will continue to be delays in services through the afternoon peak as we work through that backlog and rail replacement buses will remain in operation to help complement those rail services,” the spokesperson said.Translink has advised there were replacement buses operating with limited availability.
