Melbourne DJ Courtney Mills, affectionately known as Bambii, has been remembered by her family as a “sparkling shining star”, after the 37-year-old suffered fatal injuries from a fall in Bali.
A popular DJ originally from Melbourne 's south-east has left the city's music scene devastated after falling to her death in Bali .
Ms Mills was found by hotel staff with critical injuries before a friend rushed her to hospital where she underwent multiple emergency surgeries and placed on life support. The friend who found the high-energy DJ fronted her medical bill and waited outside the operating room for Ms Mills' family to arrive at the popular tourist destination.
“We know you have found peace, we know you have found happiness, but we will miss you every single day.She suffered a similar fall in Bali last year, which reportedly caused bleeding on her brain and left her fighting for her life.
