Former war correspondent Michael Ware says United States President Donald Trump is “definitely feeling the pinch” of the House impeachment.

“His presidency is going to go down in history as one with an asterisk,” Mr Ware told Sky News. “Reports from inside the White House are that it’s actually putting pressure on Donald Trump.

” Mr Ware said the impeachment will not drive the votes for the 2020 presidential election, as polls were “fairly evenly divided” on whether the president should or should not be impeached. Image: AP
