Twitter’s former head of security Peiter Zatko is “famous” for speaking truth to power, The Washington Post technology reporter Joseph Menn says.
Mr Zatko recently filed a complaint with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, accusing Twitter of misleading regulators about its protections against spam accounts and hackers.
“It’s not just any insider of the company filing a whistleblower complaint,” Mr Menn told Sky News Australia. “It was their head of security, he reported directly to the chief executive, and he is actually one of the most famous hackers and security experts in the United States.
