Qld records two new COVID-19 cases after conducting nearly 20,000 tests | Sky News AustraliaQueensland Health Minister Steven Miles has confirmed two new cases of coronavirus have been identified after 19,780 tests were conducted across the state. \n\nOne was an overseas traveller who returned to Australia from Papua New Guinea and the other a trainer who worked at the Queensland Correctional Services Academy in Wacol.\n\nThe trainer, employed to train correctional officers, has not visited any prisons and 25 close contacts have been identified, tested and are now in quarantine.\n\nThe Health Minister said “while we can’t yet identify a clear link with the Brisbane Youth Detention Centre, this individual lives in Forest Lake and works in Wacol, both locations where other cases from the Brisbane Youth Detention Centre cluster are known to live and work”.\n\nImage: AP
