Sky News host Gemma Tognini says the Labour Party will be ‘in the political wilderness’ for another 40 years unless “they get themselves together,” following Boris Johnson’s commanding UK general election victory. KennyOnSunday

Sky News host Gemma Tognini says the Labour Party will be ‘in the political wilderness’ for another 40 years unless “they get themselves together,” following Boris Johnson’s commanding UK general election victory. Following an overwhelming victory for Prime Minister Boris Johnson's Conservative Party, the UK is expected to go forward with Brexit in January 2020.

Labour's “red wall” of northern seats has collapsed as the Tories claimed key seats — several of which were electorates that voted to leave in the 2016 Brexit referendum. Ms Tognini also criticised political parties of the left for not taking responsibility following recent election losses over the last few years. Ms Tognini said it is a "hallmark of the regressive left" to protest against " democratic [votes] that doesn't go their way".
