From September 14 the curfew will be eased from 9:00PM to 5:00AM, outdoor gatherings will increase up to two people, single households will be able to have one visitor with no radius limit applying and exercising will also increase to two hours per day.
From October 26 if there are under five daily cases for 14 days, including less than five mystery cases, curfew will be lifted, there will be no restrictions on leaving home, outdoor gathering of 10 people, five people can visit households and outdoor exercise of 10 people. Also under this third step for Metro Melbourne are weddings up to 10 people and funerals of 20 people, some interstate travel, accommodations reopen, outdoor café seating in groups of 10 and hairdressers.
