Decorated detective Jordan Koch groomed the girl before sexually assaulting her in 2021.
“You worked for the law and gained my trust and took advantage of me.“I’ve learnt to accept that I will never be the same young, happy, carefree girl that I once was.”Koch stared straight ahead as the girl read her victim impact statement.
In an impact statement to the court, the victim’s older sister described Koch’s actions as “vile, shocking and disgraceful”.“You do not display the integrity and principles which are meant to be the foundation of a police officer,” the court heard.
