Opposition Leader Peter Dutton is “right” in asking for more specific details about the Indigenous Voice to Parliament, says Nationals Leader David Littleproud.
Mr Dutton has delivered a list of demands asking Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to provide more detail on the Voice.
“The government is saying and has said from the very beginning that they won’t be giving those details, they’ll only give us a broad consensus of what this would look like,” Mr Littleproud told Sky News Australia.“And that’s why the Nationals don’t believe this will close the gap, it will simply add another layer of bureaucracy that will slow down, particularly in regional, rural and remote areas where we represent.
