A group of stable staff from Warwick Farm have tested negative to COVID-19 but have still entered into two weeks of isolation after dining at the Crossroads Hotel this month.

Wednesday's Warwick Farm meeting was cancelled due to staff having dined at the Crossroads Hotel in Casula in early July."We received advice that some staff attended the Crossroads Hotel and in accordance with Racing NSW protocols they have reported it to stewards," chief steward Marc Van Gestel said.

"It shows that our protocols are working well and that racing staff are following everything required to keep the sport going." There are no further measures being taken at the present time with Warwick Farm-trained horses allowed to race at other tracks around the state.
