They specialise in colourful smart casual wear but in a pandemic many people are either not going out or they don't have the spare cash to buy snazzy clothes.They had the material, the sewing machines and the spare staff sitting around because no one was buying shirts anymore.So the couple thought: why not make face masks? But when it came time for them to withdraw the $35,000 they'd made, which would save their business, the account was locked.PayPal suspected fraud because there had been little activity on the site and suddenly it exploded with the sale of their colourful masks. Despite Ms Brown having a 99 per cent approval rating on eBay and sending all the documents, PayPal asked her to prove they were legitimate.And neither could their lawyer.That's when Mr Grenenger and Ms Brown got in touch withand after filming with the couple, eBay and PayPal were contacted to see what gives.Mr Grenenger and Ms Brown were just caught up in the secure protocols of the system that protects customers from fraudsters.has chalked another win up for the little guys.
