Police formally identify the body of a woman swept from a trapped car as emergency services urge caution as the state's south-east mops up after days of flooding rain.

"We are asking people to really be aware of their surroundings if they come across floodwaters on roads," SES Assistant Commissioner Nicole Hogan said. Police said the woman, believed to be 37, and a man were in a car trapped by rising water when she got out of the car and was swept away.NSW SES Chief Superintendent Colin Malone warned residents that, while rain had eased, dangers remained.
Mogo trader Simon Tadd says he's lost half his stock, worth an estimated $100,000, to the flash flood. Mr Tadd fears he won't be able to restock for summer trading due to supply chain issues brought on by COVID-19.
