Along the coast, from Cairns to the Gold Coast, temperatures are predicted to hover between the mid-30s and high 30s throughout the week.The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has issued warnings for both Western Australia and Queensland, urging residents to take precautions against the dangerous heat. The BOM recommends seeking cool places such as homes, libraries, community centres, or shopping centres. They also advise closing windows and drawing blinds early in the day to prevent heat from entering homes.
