Satellite pictures taken of China’s Xinjiang province over the last week reveal the construction of what appears to be a nuclear missile silo field containing underground facilities for the storage and launching of missiles.

At the time of the Pentagon’s warning China had at least 200 warheads while the United States is understood to have 3,800.

At the meeting China set out three demands relating to the nation's government, development and sovereignty. Ms Wang said if the two nations could not learn to coexist peacefully it would be a"catastrophe" for the world. The People’s Liberation Army Rocket Force reportedly has 250 silos under construction which is greater than the number operated in Russia.
