A cruise ship with around 1000 people on board has been left stranded off the coast of South Australia after losing power early this morning.
The Vasco de Gama, operated by Cruise & Maritime Voyages, was drifting in the St Vincent's Gulf as it came into Adelaide after a long voyage."We've got no power, no water, no toilets, no cooking, nothing," Ian told radio station 2GB.Ian told the station he and his wife had been aboard the ship since it left London, and they were supposed to be on the "cruise of a lifetime".
"We can't use the toilets, we can't cook, we can't go and get something to eat because the kitchens won't work, everything's electric."
