An emergency warning has been issued for a bushfire burning south of Glen Innes in the NSW Northern Tablelands.
"The advice for those in the Aqua Park area is to leave now and head towards Glen Innes via Mount Mitchell Road," a spokesman said. "Unfortunately the number of homes destroyed in this fire season continues to rise - now 724 homes confirmed lost. 2.7 million hectares burnt," RFS deputy commissioner Rob Rogers said on Twitter on Wednesday.
