Shocking footage has emerged of the aftermath of a stabbing attack on a police officer lured to a Melbourne home under the pretence of a burglary. The rookie cop — who had only been in the job for about 18 months — was responding to reports of an aggravated burglary at a home in Cranbourne West on Tuesday afternoon when he was stabbed in his right thigh.
Young police officer stabbed after being lured to fake crime scene in Cranbourne West. He was hospitalised with non-life-threatening injuries, while his alleged attacker was swiftly arrested. Video captured by a neighbour shows the moments following the attack. A police officer can be seen kneeling on the ground outside the home attending to their injured colleague, who screams out in pain. “Oh f***, I’ve just been stabbed, oh f***,” he can be heard shouting.
