Liberal Senator Hollie Hughes says there are concerns Labor is giving the Greens “what they want” regarding the climate bill to be tabled at parliament.
She said Labor is “not interested” in talking to the Liberal Party or National Party about the bill, which legislates the party’s 2030 and 2050 emission reduction targets.
“They’re only interested in talking to the Greens and we can see, or we can’t see more to the point, what they’re doing to saddle up to them to secure those votes,” Ms Hughes told Sky News Australia.
