An emergency warning is issued for a bushfire burning near Wooroloo, east of Perth, which has already destroyed numerous structures.
Multiple structures have gone up in flames as a bushfire threatens lives and homes around Wooroloo east of Perth.
An emergency warning has also been issued for a fire burning in the state's premier tourist region of Margaret River in the state's south-west. The fire at Wooroloo was immediately given an emergency warning level, with homes in Jason Street under threat now. People in an area bounded by Anvil Road, Forge Drive, Warrigal Way and Liberton Road in in the Shire of Mundaring were warned they were in danger and needed to act immediately to survive.An evacuation centre has been set up at the Mundaring Arena at 50 Mundaring Weir Road.The Department of Fire and Emergency Services said the fire started near the intersection of Old Northam Road and Government Road in Beechina.
An emergency warning is in place for people in an area bounded by Osmington Road to the south, Bell and Stuart Road to the north, Jindong-Treeton Road to the west and Great North Road to the east in parts of Treeton and Osmington.
