The biggest bank in the country is offering free NBN plans to some of its customers to help struggling home owners amid skyrocketing inflation.
The banking giant, in partnership with telecom provider More, will offer free three-year NBN plans to eligible customers on conditionally pre-approved home loans.CBA is also offering 30 per cent of NBN plans for the first 12 months, to existing customers who sign up using their debit or credit card as a payment method.
Executive General Manger of Home Buying Dr Michael Baumann said the measure aimed to provide some relief to homeowners battling interest rate rises. The Reserve Bank on Tuesday will prepare to raise interest rates for the second time in a decade to counter rising inflation.
