New data has revealed eight in 10 P-platers and more than half of learner drivers engaged in risky behaviour at least once in their past 10 trips.

The ­national study found speeding and driving tired were the two most common risks and one in six learners admitted to exceeding the speed limit by ­between 10

and 25km per hour. About four per cent also got behind the wheel while under the influence of alcohol or drugs within the past 12 months. Image: News Corp Australia
