Opposition Leader Chris Minns says NSW Labor’s independent arbiter is the most appropriate person to deal with complaints as another of his MPs faces bullying allegations

“I have had a conversation with the member for Bankstown in relation to that,” Minns said. “Obviously, these are anonymous allegations at this point, it’s very difficult for us to adjudicate.” Minns said the Labor Party had appointed former sex discrimination commissioner Susan Halliday as an independent arbiter to rule on bullying complaints and workplace issues.After the release of the Broderick report, Minns emailed all his parliamentary colleagues, reassuring them he was committed to a “working environment that is safe, healthy and respectful so that everyone can work and develop to their full potential”.
