The Bureau said the cyclone was "quickly approaching" and the effects were beginning to be felt by locals. George Plant from the island's Emergency Management warned on Friday of the severity of the approaching weather.The Bureau said the cyclone was "quickly approaching" and the effects were beginning to be felt by locals."This is probably the most severe weather system that we've experienced," he said.
