A Supreme Court judge in Tasmania has been asked to take leave "until further notice" due to a "significant matter".Tasmania's Attorney-General says he takes the matter "very seriously and will consider any further action as appropriate".
In a statement on Friday afternoon, Attorney-General and Minister for Justice Guy Barnett said he had "met with the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court in relation to a significant matter involving a judge".
