The resounding Conservative UK election victory shows the “average voter” has vehemently rejected “the most left-wing Labour manifesto in history,” along with its “antisemite” leader in Jeremy Corbyn, according to Sky News host Peta Credlin. The Conservative party secured a resounding majority in Thursday’s general election in the UK, while Labour suffered its worst result since 1935.
Labour's “red wall” in the north collapsed as the Tories claimed key seats — several of which were electorates that voted to leave in the 2016 Brexit referendum. Ms Credlin said this result demonstrates that governments who want to get elected must clearly focus on putting “their own country first”. Voters have “had enough” of being told, “what to think, what to do and what they can or cannot say,” Ms Credlin said.
