Health Minister Greg Hunt is set to make a major change to the booster program that will affect millions of residents across the country. Join Sky News Australia live for the press conference from 9:30am.

It's expected he will announce a reduced interval of five to four months for the third dose amid rising cases and the threat of the Omicron variant.

South Australia Premier Steven Marshall flagged earlier this week"we should consider reducing that down again".
