Complaints made about former ACT director of public prosecutions Shane Drumgold , during the prosecution of Bruce Lehrmann , have been dismissed.
The ACT Bar Council's complaints, released in a report of its investigation, alleged Mr Drumgold engaged in professional misconduct or unsatisfactory professional conduct during the trial, including claims he misled the court. The Bar Council's complaints targeted issues raised by that inquiry, which was run by former Queensland judge Walter Sofronoff.
In its report, the council said for any action it would have to be satisfied that Mr Drumgold would be found guilty of unsatisfactory professional conduct.
