Walker was seen pouring a can of Budweiser down the neck of a dead catfish before pouring the soiled contents down her throat.It is hardly the first time celebrities have jumped up on stage at the stadium to sink a slimed-up can of Budweiser with Tennessee Titans star Taylor Lewan also going viral for the act in 2018. The catfish has a long tradition with the NHL franchise, dating back as far as the 1950s, according to some reports.The tradition began when the Detroit Red Wings had first taken up a tradition of throwing an octopus onto the ice to symbolise the fact the team needed eight playoffs wins to win the Stanley Cup at the time. Since then the tradition of throwing a catfish onto the ice, during a Nashville home game, mostly during the pre-game entertainment, has become a semi-regular ritual.Alli Walker is promoting her new single. We kiss the cod for fun in my neck of the woods. And it just happened to go along perfect with the lyrics of my new song CREEK.”Walker was indeed promoting her new single, which includes the lyrics: “Catch you like a catfish”.
