WHO warns holiday festivities will lead to “increased cases, overwhelmed health systems and more deaths”; London records the UK’s highest number of Omicron cases amid steep rise in hospitalisations

Kuwait will require travellers arriving to the country to have a Covid booster shot if more than nine months have passed since their vaccination, the government communication centre said in a tweet on Monday.

The procedures are to be followed for those arriving to Kuwait as of 26 December, the announcement said. Kuwait will also require incoming travellers to quarantine at home for 10 days unless they receive a negative PCR test for the coronavirus within 72 hours of their arrival.
