One man has been charged and another is in hospital after an alleged hit and run in Adelaide’s northern suburbs on Tuesday.
footage of the incident provided to 7NEWS appears to show a man yelling towards the street outside an Elizabeth Downs home before a car mounts the kerb and hits him and a tree. Hit-and-run at Elizabeth Downs Other people in the yard of the home then start yelling as they go to help the man, who was knocked to the ground on impact. The car then turns and speeds off. Police said emergency services were called to the Burdell St address about 11.30pm on Tuesday and found a 56-year-old Elizabeth Downs man with leg injuries. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
