The government’s leader in the upper house, Damien Tudehope, on Wednesday said the government rejected “any suggestion that it is keeping any information secret” and that more documents would be handed over this week. “The NSW government is committed to complying fully with the order for papers and will be delivering further documents this week.”The government has already agreed to release additional documents from the NSW Treasury.
Pressure has intensified on Ayres and Perrottet after documents released to the upper house this weekBoth told parliament last month that the first recruitment process had not produced a suitable candidate, leading Labor to accuse them of misleading the parliament.
